Men's Sheds are now established as part of the health infrastructure that supports programs to improve men's health and well-being. The Rotary Club of Karrinyup is planning to develop a new Men’s Shed for residents in and around Karrinyup.

Earbus Team Visit

A major project of the Rotary Club of Karrinyup is the planned construction of an Earbus to operate in the Kimberley region of WA. For many months now club members have been working closely with the Earbus Foundation of WA through the planning stages. At our recent club meeting, members were privileged to hear from Professor Harvey Coates and Earbus Foundation CEO Paul Higginbotham.

District Conference 2017

Rotary District 9455 to be held in March on 24rd/25th & 26th March 2017

The conference commences with a Sundowner on the 24th from 6pm – 10pm.  A full day conference on Saturday the 25th March with Sunday morning featuring Rotary projects and the Four Way Speaking contest along with Optional tours to various projects in the afternoon.

The Venue is the Guildford Grammar School in Guildford.

Empowering Disabled Youth through Education and Employment, Cambodia

The project “Empowering Disabled Youth through Education and Employment, Cambodia is seeking support from Rotary Clubs, businesses and individuals for a new venture.   The previous request for funds to support the purchase of Kampot Farm was not taken up by Rotary Clubs in District 9455 but fortunately some support came from elsewhere and the farm has been purchased and will provide invaluable support and education opportunities for disabled young people in the Kampot region of Cambodia – many of whom suffer disabilities as a result of birth defects attributed to Agent Orange disbursed during the Vietnam War.
